I became a counsellor after a life-changing experience of my own therapy - an experience that reshaped the trajectory of my life. My aim is to offer clients a relationship that can feel just as meaningful and supportive. Having sat on both sides of the counselling room, I bring a deep respect for how vulnerable it can be to seek help.

My approach is grounded in honesty, compassion (and a little humour!). I work from a humanistic framework while drawing on evidence-based tools to suit each individual. Sessions are collaborative and paced around your needs. Together, we’ll explore your story, reconnect with your strengths, and discover new pathways for healing to help you move forward.

Before and during my studies I worked across a range of NGO mental health services. Since graduating in 2022, I have worked full-time as a counsellor in multiple sectors, including suicide prevention, and while completing postgraduate training in counselling children and young people. I also ran a successful private practice in Edinburgh. Since relocating to Australia, I have worked within the domestic and family violence sector, supporting people to understand and recover from trauma.

Starting therapy can feel daunting, but you don’t have to do this alone. I offer a space without judgement or pressure. Whether you arrive with hesitation or hope, I will meet you where you are.

So, you may be here looking at this profile today because you feel like you're carrying too much, its become too heavy and you don't have the tools or space to put it down. Maybe there's something external in your life that is causing you stress or anxiety and you need some support navigating it. Or, like many of the clients I have worked with over the years, the struggle is internal. Ruminating on memories or feelings that you are seeking to understand. My hope, as a counsellor, is to create a safe space for you to put some of this down for a while and work collaboratively to explore and understand what you've been holding.
